There had a new product which had develop in China. The "box-in-box" of the packaged cereal breakfast products is designed to protect the interior food from the effects of heat, light and moisture. However, in the face of the new requirements of governments and consumers in reducing packaging waste, European producers are eager to research and develop new simple packaging containers.
Not long ago, Norway's Re&al Molle Group Corporation developed a new type of box “Enter Porform Barr” for packaging dried fruits (Bajas) and breakfast cereals. In order to reduce the defective rate of the new packaging and increase the hardness, a solid bleached sulphate pulp resistant to chemical heat and mechanical properties was used. The entire package consists of a clay coating as the outer layer, and an inner layer of plastic coated with "Ensobar" and a composite material sandwiched between them. The outermost layer is a protective layer that prevents oxygen from entering and the product's aroma is penetrated. The plastic composite coated with PE-LD coating from pulp plays a role of sealing and heat-resistant moisture.
After about 7 months of trial sales, consumers have completely adapted to the box without the inner bag. This box can be recycled and can completely replace the breakfast cereal box with the inner bag.
